User Review of the Samsung A800
I've been a Sprint customer for several years now. My most recent phones were the Samsung A500 and then a new A700 phone. A few months ago I finally upgraded to a Samsung A800 as I usually switch to a new cell phone every 12-18 months.
My Pros:
The built-in 2.0 mega pixel camera has excellent photo quality. The Camcorder also works very well.
slider is cool.

J2ME works very well. I am a software developer and like to play around. I have tested this phone with a bunch of my own applications that I developed. I am very happy with the results - they might not necessarily apply to the average user not using this functionality.
The cell phone screen is excellent. The colors are very good and the resolution is awesome. Surfing the mobile internet with Opera mini is really cool using this phone.
The battery life is average. I have to re-charge every day but I'm a pretty heavy phone user. I probably talk about 75-100 min every and as mentioned above I use the phone to access the internet which results in a lot of data usage.
CONS:
The size. I hate it. It's big, fat, and bulky. That is a biggy for me. I am not happy about it. And my biggest issue after using the phone for a while - it does not have Bluetooth.

My price:
I paid about $500 for it as it did not come with a new contract. $500 is expensive. So, call me crazy.

My Conclusion
Overall, I would recommend the phone. The new A900 is eventually a better buy since it's power vision is better. It is also much smaller and has Bluetooth. The main reason for the A800 is the high quality 2.0 Mega pixel camera.
