Samsung Unveils the new 'Ultra Edition' Slim Phones

Samsung unveiled a brand new line-up of slim mobiles at CommunicAsia 2006. The Ultra Edition 6.9 (X820) leads the handset pack, boasting the world's thinnest profile of only 6.9 mm. Also on display is the Ultra Edition 12.9 (D900), the world's slimmest slider with a depth of only 12.9 mm and a 3.0-megapixel camera. Making its debut at CommunicAsia is the Ultra Edition 9.9 (D830), a brand new clamshell handset that is 9.9 mm thin.

Samsung's Ultra Edition 9.9 (D830) has a simple ultra slim folder design and the latest cutting-edge technology. The 9.9 mm clamshell is outfitted with a 2.0-megapixel camera to capture special moment, a 2.3-inch wide display, and an external memory slot for extra storage. Navigation is easier with an enhanced user interface with uMenu and uSearch features. The Ultra Edition 9.9 is planned for the Southeast Asian mobile market later this year.
