The Nokia E50 is running on the Symbian Operating System for cell phones. The phone has been built based on the S60 3rd edition smartphone. The cell phone offers functionality for  both business and entertainment purposes.


The Nokia E50 is the slimmest cell phone of the Nokia E-series and can operate on the EGSM 850/900/1800/1900 networks. Supporting all GSM networks worldwide, the E50 is the perfect phone for the traveling business manager. The E50 has enhanced anti-virus features as well as it offers sophisticated corporate email functionality via BlackBerry Connect, Altexia, Intellisync Wireless Email, Visto Mobile and Microsoft ActiveSync.

The entertainment section of the Nokia phone offers a built-in 1.3 megapixel camera with 4X Zoom, Flash, Video Recording & Playback supporting a top resolution size of 1280 by 960 pixels. The phone features a MP3 player for actual music and ringtones. However the available storage is not very large and is limited when it comes to expanding with external storage. Music lovers would not be satisfied.
