The Droid Incredible is a powerful smart phone. One item many users liked a lot is the increased amount of memory storage on this phone. The Google Phone “Nexus One” as well as the Motorola Droid only feature 512 MB while the Droid Incredible has 8 GB of memory storage available. Finally I can store a couple of movies and lots of music right on my phone if I wanted to.
If the onboard memory storage is not sufficient you can add MicroSD cards for extra storage to the phone. Just open the back of the Droid Incredible and you will see the slot for the MicroSD cards. There is no need to remove the battery which is awesome as other phones often require you to pull the battery out to do the same.
When you take pictures and record video and voice to your phone, at one point you probably want to download the results to your computer. This is easily done by plugging the Droid Incredible into the MicroUSB cable and to connect it to your computer. Once you connect the phone and look at the phone touchpad screen you see a few options to choose from. While the default option is to charge your phone, you can also select to mount it as a drive. The phone’s storage system will then show up on your computer and you can drag/drop or copy/paste data to and from the Droid Incredible.
